Magic The Gathering
What are the rules????
Every player has his own DECK. A DECK are a minimum of 40 cards of 1 or more colours. Every colour needs it's own LAND.
You can see when a card is a LAND if it produces MANA. MANA is marked with symbols and names. The names are
MOUNTAINS, SWAMPS, FORESTS, ISLANDS and PLAINS.The symbols are a SUN, SKELETON HEAD, TREE,
RED FIRE and WATER. You take 7 cards from your DECK into your hand and take a card. There are a few PHASES
in which this happens. You'll learn those PHASES while you are playing. After taking a card you look for a land in your
hand and put it on the table (or whatever your playing on). You can only put 1 land a turn on the table. Then you look for a spell
to cast and look at the symbols at the upper-right corner of the card. Each symbol needs 1 land. If you have enough lands
you can tap them and use spell. If your card is an enchandment you must put it next to your deck. If your card is a creature
you must put it somewhere before you. You can't use this creature this turn, but you can block with it. If the card is a spell
you must read the text under the picture. Creatures can have some symbols under the picture. A wing means the creature
has got flying. It can only be blocked by other creatures with flying. A web means a creature can also block creatures with
flying. First strike means that the creature attacks the other creature first. If it still lives it can strike back. A plus symbol
means it be combined with other creatures you control while blocking or attacking. VERY IMPORTANT TO KNOW
IS THAT EACH PLAYER STARTS WITH 20 LIVES. WHEN IT REACHED 0 OR YOU ARE OUT OF CARDS
YOU'VE LOST!!!!!
Trading cards
You've bought a beginners deck and bought many expension sets. You just can't get the right cards for your deck.
Then it's time to trade cards with others. The best thing to do with trading cards is sort all your cards out. It will take some
time (it toke 3 hours by me), but it's the easiest way to trade. If you've played it a while, you should know what cards are
rare. You can trade those for better cards.
My oppinion about a Magic
The Gathering card.
The card you see above is one of the most expensive and most strongest card in the game.
Some say this card is the best card someone can have in his deck. It almost can't be defeaded.
I think it's not really a good card because :
1. It cost many lands, although it doesn't matter what kind of lands.
2. Almost no CREATURE can defeat it, but a spell can.
3. Every turn you can pay 9 lands to untap it, but you don't have to. If you don't, you cannot use the card that turn.
I'm not saying that this is a bad card. If you can affort it it's a good card, but to many spells can destroy it.
This next card is a 7/7 card
with flying and trample. It looks like
the perfect card. If you succesfully attack 3 times with this card,
then your opponent has lost. I think this is one of the worst cards
I've ever seen. Why?. Well, it's because of these prices you must pay:
1. You first need to pay 7 mana. That not so bad.
2. Each time if it's your turn you MUST SACRIFICE A CREATURE. That's something I hate.
3. If you don't or can't IT WILL DEAL 7 DAMAGE TO YOU. And that's something I hate
the most.
4. You can't sacrifise the card itself, too bad.
This card can destroy your opponent if you can effort it, but otherwise it will destroy yourself.
I've nothing more to say about this card. NEXT!
This card is nothing special.
But this is a strong and cheap 5/3 card.
The photo is a bit unclear, but this is a with silver hammer Viashino
card. I'm collecting Viashino's. It's unaffected by summoning sick-
ness. The only problem is at the end of your turn. After each turn
this card returns to your hand. Does that make this a bad card???
I don't think so. This is almost the same as 'during upkeep pay
4 mana to untap this card'. By the way, this card costs 4 mana.
If you payed the card, you can immediately block or attack
with it and at the end of your turn you can put it back in your
hand. I think it's a good card. At least better than 'LORD OF
THE PIT'(see previous oppinion).
IF YOU HAVE COMMENCE ABOUT A CARD, YOU CAN SENT ME AN E-MAIL.

A sample of cards from Magic The Gathering
Meet Erik The Dealer
He began with 1 Magic card he won from a bet. Then he bought 2 cards from someone. Now he got three very good cards.
Then, the next day he began to 'deal'. He got three for one card. No one wanted the rest YET. He began to bet again.
He lost two cards and won four cards. After that someone came with an idea to borrow a card, trade it for more and
give two cards back to the owner of the card. That way he got a 9/9 card and two people wanted that one. They wanted
to trade that card for more and more cards. The happy winner got the 9/9 card against 14 other cards. Erik had now 21 cards.
He collected slowly all bleu cards and created his own deck. His advice to all Magic-dealers: "Everybody wants to trade cards
as cheap as they can, but always stick to YOUR trade prices."
A few Erik 'The Dealer' Bond titles were renamed with his nickname. You can see them in THE TRASH CAN.
